Privacy Policy

This policy explains how WA Contacts Extractor handles information when you use the Chrome extension and its related account and subscription services.

Data processed locally

The extension reads contact information that WhatsApp Web makes available in your active browser session so it can build the list you request. Depending on the options you select, this may include contact names, phone numbers, chat or group associations, business labels, country calling codes, and the latest private-message text, time, direction, and read status.

This contact and message data is processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. Exported CSV, XLSX, and JSON files are generated on your device. The extension does not read or export group-message content.

Account and subscription data

When you sign in or use paid features, we may process:

• Your Google account name, email address, and profile image.
• Authentication identifiers and session records needed to keep you signed in.
• Your selected plan, subscription status, entitlement, order identifier, and billing status.
• Technical error information that you voluntarily send to support.

This information is used only to authenticate you, verify feature access, prevent abuse, provide support, and administer subscriptions.

Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider. We may receive transaction status, order identifiers, plan details, and limited billing metadata. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Browser storage and permissions

The extension uses Chrome storage to remember settings, authentication state, and limited entitlement data. It uses access to web.whatsapp.com only to provide contact extraction in the page where the user invokes the extension. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell personal information. We do not transfer WhatsApp contact lists or message content to third parties. Account and subscription data may be handled by service providers that operate authentication, hosting, payment, and support infrastructure, only as necessary to provide those services or comply with law.

WA Contacts Extractor's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Contact data remains in the active browser context and in files you choose to save. Account and transaction records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably required for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and support. You can request account-data deletion by emailing us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for server-side account and subscription data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the extension changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
